Work Force to start All-Remote for fall 2020

With Cambridge Public School starting in All-Remote for fall of 2020, and the country still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Work Force Youth Program will also start in All-Remote for fall of 2020 for all grades.

Work Force will still run weekly workshops, provide homework help, and be available for case-management and support. Participants will still receive their class stipends for attending the virtual workshops and our Career Development Specialist is working hard to develop remote Exploratory Jobs and Internships for the fall. Additionally, Work Force is working on creating a paid Jobs Training Plus program in collaboration with our This Way Ahead program staff, to supplement the loss of jobs and provide a space for our youth to sharpen their job retention skills.

Workshops for seniors will start on Thursday, September 17th and workshops for all other grades will start the week of September 28th.
